Here’s Chris, our founder. He worked with major high street estate agency brands for over 35 years, amassing a wealth of local knowledge. Then he had an idea of doing things slightly differently. Where success is measured by the width of someone’s smile as much as by figures on a balance sheet. Thus, Hound & Porter was born.

Our Team
Chris Nathan
Chris has had a passion for property for over 35 years, mainly in the local Reigate area and surrounds. He spent 7 years in the military before turning his hand to property and all that surrounds it. Chris’s career started as a trainee sales advisor working his way up to Managing Director of a highly respected corporate agency where he worked for 20 years. At the tender age of 50 he felt the desire to provide something different with customer service centric to everything, and Hound & Porter was born.
Daniel Skegg
With an extensive background in customer service gained through years of experience at John Lewis and Waitrose, Daniel is deeply committed to delivering exceptional service and ensuring client satisfaction.
When deciding to pursue a career change, Daniel recognized that his transferable skills would be a perfect fit for the estate agency industry.
During his time at a leading high street agency in Reigate, where he worked closely with Chris Nathan for several years, he quickly advanced through the ranks, gaining invaluable knowledge and experience along the way.
While receiving various accolades and achievements in the industry along the way, Daniel’s proudest accomplishment is being a father to two wonderful children.
Having followed Hound & Porter’s journey since its inception and staying in touch with Chris, Danile was excited to join the team. Drawn to the company’s innovative business model, shared values, and the flexibility it offers— joining Hound & Porter was the ideal fit for Daniel.
India Gregg
India knows the estate agency world inside out. Coming to us after more than 15 years as part of a large corporate agency, she has seen the industry change dramatically. But however unpredictable the market may sometimes seem, India always keeps focused on the most important things – building genuine relationships, offering invaluable local knowledge, and making everything as stress-free as possible.
Amelia Blake
Having lived in the area for 17 years, I’m deeply invested in our local community. My children have attended local schools, and through them, I’ve built strong connections with neighbours and fellow families. After spending years working in the city, I made the decision to focus on life closer to home once I became a parent. This brought me to work with a local business for five years, and later, I joined Hound & Porter soon after they opened their doors.
I’ve always had a keen interest in property, completing three home renovations over the years, which has only deepened my passion for the industry. Being part of a small, dedicated team where personalised customer service is at the heart of everything we do is something I truly value. Helping others find their perfect home in a community I love is incredibly rewarding.
Peter Nesbitt
You’d be hard pushed to find anyone with quite as much knowledge as Peter when it comes to property development. He originally trained as an architect, developing such an eye for detail that he can find inventive solutions that give buildings that little something extra. He has spent the last 30 years at one of the most respected property developers in the country, and now applies all that expertise at our boutique estate agency. Peter also has the envious accolade of designing and patenting his own property “The Evolving House”.
